Here is our 1st quarter calendar with lots of important dates. Be sure to mark these dates on your calendar.
Remember tomorrow is Ice Cream Day. Ice cream is $1.50 and can be ordered in your child's homeroom.
Lastly, HOT TICKETS came home today for all students who were AT SCHOOL ON TIME AND STAYED ALL DAY this week. Students who received a hot ticket can come to school out of uniform tomorrow. Students should wear school appropriate clothing and remember to wear tennis shoes!

Parents may walk their students in on Monday, August 11th. Please drop off and say your goodbyes quickly. After the first day, only Kindergarten and PreK students may be walked in for the first 3 days.
Dismissal 3:05 - 3:15 pm
Dismissal will begin at 3:05. Please be patient with us for the first week. Our goal is to dismiss all students safely and this may take a few extra minutes at the beginning of the school year. Carpool parents must have the Anna Booth issued car tag in order to pick up their students. If you do not have a carpool tag and number, please stop by the office prior to dismissal to get one.
If your student will ride the bus, please verify bus information using the MCPSS website.

We would like to welcome, Ashton Lee to our Anna Booth Elementary family. Mrs. Lee will be teaching Kindergarten. We are excited to have her join our school family!


We would like to welcome our new staff member, Alexis Powell to Anna Booth Elementary. Alexis will be teaching one of our Special Education classes this school year. We are thrilled to have her as part of our school family!


Don't forget our Meet the Teacher event on Tuesday, August 5th from 3:30 - 5:30.



Do you want to know who your child's teacher will be next year? Be sure to bring your proofs of residence to Booth on the designed registration days from 8:00 - 11:00 am or 1:00 - 3:00 pm. July 21 is for new to Booth students and incoming kindergarten students. July 22 and 23 are for all returning students. Once online registration has been completed and 2 current proofs have been turned into the office, you will be notified of your child's upcoming teacher. Please note, this is NOT our meet the teacher. Our Meet the Teacher event will be held on August 5 from 3:30 - 5:30. Only those families who have submitted two current proofs will attend our Meet the Teacher event.


We are excited to announce that we will have Before and After School Care this upcoming school year! Pre-registration begins today. You can pre-register by going to https://tinyurl.com/Booth-AfterschoolCare or by scanning the QR code on the flyer. Space is limited so hold your spot today by pre-registering. Official registration will occur July 21st - August 6th. All fees and forms will be due by August 6th.

It is SUMMER time! Report cards should be arriving this week for our students. This information was included in the report card. Here is a digital copy for you to save. Our teachers and staff hope you each have a wonderful summer!









Yearbooks have arrived! Be sure to secure your copy soon. We have a limited supply available. Yearbooks are $35.00 each.


It is hard to believe we only have 18 days of school left for the 2024-2025 school year! Please carefully read the information included so you don't miss out on any of our celebrations. We are also looking into the possibility of providing a paid before and after school program at Booth next school year. If you are interested, please complete the form a the bottom of the flyer.






Don't forget Field Day is Friday, April 18th! Students participating in the Color Run must bring a change of clothes and a towel. Concessions will be sold during Field Day. Please send student's money in a ziplock bag or envelope marked with their name and teacher's name.




Class of 2025 join us for Anna Booth Elementary School's Senior Walk on May 12th at 9:30. RSVP by May 5th. We look forward to celebrating you on May 12th!


Don't forget Field Day and Color Run is April 18th! Parents are welcome to attend. Be sure to send in your registration form by Monday, April 14th.
